I hope to one day see these beautiful birds flying wild overhead and to hear thier calls.

For centuries, Puerto Rico had thousands of beautiful green parrots living in the jungle, but by 1967, only 24 parrots were left. What could people do to bring these birds back from the edge of extinction? Picture book format, with cut-paper illustrations.

Beautiful photos and it may be interesting for older children; however, my 6 year old granddaughter was bored with it.
