This book catches my eye every time I see so I've read it at least a few times. I think the title catches it just right, sweet and simple!

There are all kinds of handmade jewelry in this book, but most of it is really clunky and requires jewelry findings that are difficult to find, like the little miniature necklace terrarium for the felted mushroom. There's clay jewelry, resin jewelry, needle felted jewelry, felt jewelry, and silicone molding jewelry. Some of it is cute. Much of it is ugly. I would hesitate to recommend this book to a child because some of the techniques are complicated and there are some serious chemicals in the products used. Interesting, but I wouldn't try any of these projects. I've been making beaded wire jewelry for more than a decade and it's so much prettier than anything in this book.

Some cute ideas, clever uses of stitchery. Not for me.
