Best read after reading Gregg Allman's book. It is well researched and well written.
Rock biographys have a tendency to be superficial, this is an exception.
The fact it is written by Duane's daughter and her journey to know her father gives it a weight not found in others.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

I liked this book a lot. Galadrielle did a fantastic job of evoking an interesting, surprisingly rounded picture of Duane's life. For me, it's also an exploration into what it means to have the musical muse. It tells the story of those on the 'periphery', how their lives were impacted - and what it means to lose a parent at such an early age.
