A patron review from the Adult Summer Game: "Loving these Joanne Kilbourn mysteries. Gail has created a wonderful character who doesn't change through out the series. Her scene setting and character descriptions create strong stories and the twists keep you on your toes."

This is an early work and full talent has not emerged but setting is fun and the character of the protagonist is starting to develop. Good background to read later novels by Bowen
