A man so gifted his work would make angels cry. He was the one true talent behind the greatest art theft in history. The theft of the Mona Lisa. The story begins in Paris, 1911 Not with Chaudron, but with an Italian a poor carpenter named Perugia who, a few months before the theft, works a contract at the Louvre. …
Open dialogue: Seasoned crooks swear you only remember two days about your stretch in jail. The day you get in and the day you get out. But I'll tell you, those guys, they never been to a Polish prison. 'Cause, buddy, you don't forget a second of your stay in the Warsaw penal system. Oh, boy. And you never stop thinking about what you done that got you there and what you're going to do when you get out And who you're going to do it to I reckon it takes a betrayal before you realize the real currency in the world ain't money... it's trust.

But the director's "style" of trying to be edgy switching quickly back and forth created no sense of the characters and was not cool as I suppose he was trying to be. Really good films slowly build suspense and arent so focused on fast action that creates the illusion of a suspenseful, interesting plot. Unfortunately too many movies nowadays are like this- superficial.
Ehh... This was labeled by the library as a comedy -- to me it wasn't quite that -- amusing bits, yeah, but not really a comedy. Caper film, sure, but it doesn't come together until the very end. The actors & their characters are kind of enjoyable to see doing their thing. Mostly, people who are working together, ideally should like each other to some extent, but mostly just fight with each other .... if I wanted to see that I'd go to a family gathering.
no connection between the characters. Lots of big names, but nothing clicks and that makes the film uninteresting. The plot jumps and it is easy to get bored.
Not bad of its kind caper film. Able cast moves quickly through familiar plot.
Very bad, not even a good spoof. 10 minutes was enough.
jimg2000 Sums up my experience well. I enjoyed seeing Niagra Falls masquerading as other places. The veteran cast was worth seeing. Reminded me of the films from the '70s and these actors were around for the originals.
messy movie to watch...don't bother
Nothing serious just a fun bait and switch with a colorful cast of characters. Some good laughs.
Easily predictable. It was fun at times, while other moments, the acting seemed like some inside joke that I was not made aware of.
Well, add Kurt Russell and Matt Dillon to the list of actors who accepts inferior roles. I found the story, acting, directing, and dialogue offending to my senses. I turned-off the DVD.
