I was expecting this to be similar to other books that focus on zakka style projects. This one is more oriented to cottage chic projects (which is fine, just not my style). The patterns are mostly outline embroidery and rely on backstitching, but a few other stitches make their way in here and there. Some of those projects are true redwork, others use a couple colors (although it would be super easy to change it up if you wanted something bolder!)
