By far, the plot of the book is one of the most interesting in the entire series. I liked how everything tied up in the end too, where segments of the action closed in to give readers that "oh!" moment. Jack and Annie are lured into a trap, set by the Ice wizard, the antagonist of the story, who tricks Morgan and Merlin. They must work together to assist him, by recovering his lost eye. Along the way, ups and downs keep the story-line flowing quite nicely. Definitely recommend!

Weird story!! My daughter didn't feel good after reading this book. So far out of 25 magic tree house books she has read, it was the first one she didn't like. She is glad she borrowed it and not bought it.
