A good review of stunt jumping, particularly on BASE jumping and wing gliding. The main focus is the rivalry between two men, one British and one American, as they try to outdo each other. These are extremely dangerous sports and the book stresses that quite well, but the men and women who put their lives on the line are either skilled practitioners who often get injured and / or run afoul of the law - or total amateurs who have no business even doing a regular parachute jump, let alone the extreme nature of this activity. A "thrill" (pardon the expression) to read.

What an awesome book. I could not put it down and read it in a weekend. Terrifying, fascinating, and leaves me wondering just what is this....a must read.
