KRISTIAN REYES

They believe Jesus Christ in the heaven and they read it long time. They struggle to make life mess up something another in the earth. They attend to church on
Saturday or Sunday and they need to repent from our father in the heaven. they pray to god before sleep night and wake up morning and they feel spirit with an angel.

Gave up on it. The first disc was all fighting. I prefer to listen to the sermons at church. This was too much bloodshed.

As a none church goer and someone that has never read the bible, this is a very good miniseries. Super violent though. If you want death, destruction, adultery, famine, etc, don’t bother with Hollywood, just read the bible!!!

OK, it's nice to see some of the Bible stories on video. And they've tried to do decent production. But, c'mon: ninja angels? Some are done well: many characters are inconsistent, and some of the material is just flatly wrong. Most of it is OK, but some of the howlers may be what you remember afterwards.

So far I've watched Volume one, which takes you through the Old Testament and the early years after Jesus' birth. The acting and special effects are amazing, and quite graphic at times. More importantly, however, is that the stories are depicted with great accuracy (we read along in our Bible while watching). There are some small embellishments (or at least minor details not mentioned in The Bible), but the overall theme of the Old Testament is clear: that the Jews (along with the rest of the world) are in desperate need of, not only a strong and righteous King, but a Savior! I hope that everyone who watches this series will also feel a deep need for Jesus!
