Straight-laced George and eccentric Edith, two strangers meet on their children's campus tour at the idyllic Middleton College. I loved this movie. Released in 2012, it is a true Romantic Comedy. The relationship that Andy Garcia and Vera Farminga create is just so wonderful and full, that I would even consider this for other actors as a 'must watch'. The two leads meet, and, in one day, have a life realization that cannot be ignored. I loved watching them create this relationship and how it plays into the rest of the storyline.
When you watch the cd, make sure you listen to the song at the end. Garcia is not the best vocalist, (he sings), but he wrote the words. I was delighted by this film.

Couldn't get through this boring and unrealistic movie. Don't bother! Can't understand why actors get paid for being in garbage like this. BTW this film grossed a little over $80,000 according to Wikipedia - which ought to tell you something right there.

Dreadful - plotting and dialog never rings true - written by either robots, high schoolers or space aliens or some combination of those three.

Loved this movie from beginning to end... Similar to Julie Delpy/Ethane Hawke 'Before Sunrise' & 'Before Sunset' & Juliette Binoche in 'Certified Copy'... Non-romantics need not bother to click the start button...!!!

I liked the plot of this flick initially, but the story was so slow in unfolding, my fast-forward button became my best friend.

Rated 2/10. I found this to be rather unentertaining. A lot of fast-forwarding.

Terrible! Totally predictable and, at the same time, unbelievable.

A great romantic comedy with insight into the relationship one has with your children when they go off to college. Andy Garcia and Vera Famiga are terrific as two parents visiting Middleton College with their son and daughter. The humor does not always hit the mark, but the message of the film makes up for a few bad jokes.

A delightful, lighthearted movie. Vera F. is good at letting her true emotions show through. The empty nest syndrome hits her hard. She has trouble dealing with the situation of loosing her only daughter to attend college. Enjoyed seeing both parents let their hair down and have some fun in their lives.

It is obvious from the script that this was written and directed by inexperienced young men based on their own thoughts, actions and dialogue, which do not seem right or even funny coming from the mouths of older and professional actors. Just weird and unpleasant
