This is a fascinating story, detailing the Man of Steel and his relationship with Tinseltown. Superman is presented almost as a person himself, and this talks about how the character and relationship to the audience adapts and changes starting with radio and going all the way to Superman Returns.

This book was written before the most recent Man of Steel and Batman v Superman so it is not the most up-to-date film, but fairly comprehensive before that. It is an easy reading style, but there are few off-color and frankly unnecessary innuendos in the story. Those can be jarring, but overall the book is worth the read. -- Cassandra L., St. Anthony Library
