Marvelous summary of the known science behind the migration of humans as well as their interbreeding--continent by continent. The views of the researchers reveal major departures from the conventional wisdom that we all grew up with. All in all, this is a fascinating work on the history of homo sapiens.

This show is good, with lots of newly discovered DNA info about modern humans having Neanderthal and other ancient humans' DNA in us. However, a big downside is that the background music is loud and irritating, often drowning out the narration.

Unfortunately, also, the discs are so damaged that I was able to watch only 2 of the five segments.
