I can understand why this book is so successful. By reading this book, you are learning what a good conversationalists tries to do during a conversation. Conversationally speaking is a great book on the know-how to a good conversation, but the book only slightly addresses about developing the practice. For me, I have difficulties working up the courage to speak and the book does not explain how to overcome these difficulties. However, this is a great book for people who can start conversations easily but do not know how to expand and go deeper into conversation.
