Kick A$$ Spy Show, right in the Era of when I was growing up & was Old enough o Understand what was going on during that time in the Early 80's.
I Remember how Intense things were between Our Country & the Evil Empire as President Reagan Use to Call them.

Great spy thriller set in the 80s, based on real events

What would the end of the Cold War appear to be if there wasn't an end to it?

Decent series and it's ramping up to be a great series. Season 2 out did season 1 and I'm looking forward to season 3.

I think this show is TOP OF THE LINE. It is a slow brew but really delivers the goods. I am also a Justified fan. With the Americans, I started with live TV season 3, then picked up season one and then two. You don't need to know much other than these guys are Soviet spies living in Washington DC and their neighbor, Stan, is FBI. GREAT stuff.

It's very entertaining. The 2nd season so far has begun to develop a lot more plot twists and turns than the first season. The main characters are being developed, showing the main characters early years taking place in the 60's providing relevant connections to the shows current era of the 80's- there are odd relationship issues in the family, but look past them for the most part.

Solid show. If you haven't seen season 1, you better watch it first or you won't know what the hell is going on. Very unique and interesting premise, and solid writing, acting and directing. I was never really a fan of Keri Russell but she really stands out as a pretty damn good actress in this. Be sure to watch the bloopers -- Matthew Rhys has some pretty funny lines and he has a comical British accent as well.
