Kea thought she'd found the man of her dreams, but soon realises the extent of Jaquon's infidelity as she waits up for him every night. Derrick is caught between his mother and his girlfriend, the former of which can't understand why her son would ever give Zacariah a second chance after her first affair. When Derrick finally catches Zacariah cheating once again, he rushes to Jaquon's house for support from his best friend. Kea is there alone, and before they know it their mutual pity party turns into something else. My Man's Best Friend is the first novel in a new series.

This was a crazy story that actually had a moral. Kea and Jaquon are in a relationship. Zacariah and Derrick are in a relationship. Essence is Zacariah's best friend. Jaquon and Derrick are best friends. Jaquon ends up sleeping with Zacariah and having an affair with Essence and Kea ends up having an affair with Derrick. The whole story is crazy but it is found out that 2 of the people are actually sister and brother and their dad ends up getting killed before they can confront him. I think the moral of this book is to stay faithful
and always know the people you are getting involved with.
