Not at all what I was expecting, though I shouldn't have been surprised given the author. I went in cold, never having read the short story in its original form and having avoided reviews and descriptions. It appears mundane enough heading in, but ends up being far from it. Lots of fun. I'm guessing the art enhances the straight text, as it's gorgeous to look at and very well done.

Reminiscent of a Ray Bradbury story, only with girls.

Great art but not a home run by any means. It is above average but not anywhere near the skill by all involved.

Adapted from the short story of the same name, Gaiman, Moon, and Ba's comic is really out of this world. Spectacular artwork compliments the outlandish, yet compelling words of Gaiman. Great read!

Gaiman's short story is wonderfully converted into a graphic novel that loses nothing of Gaiman's voice but adds a whole lot of fantastic art.
