The Best full season of sci-fi on TV of any show. All the episodes are good or great. The writers' success at repeatedly coming up with strange adventures to mirror the emotional journey of the core characters while advancing the 'mythos' makes for some of the best sci-fi I've ever seen. Why is it so rare to have characters we care about along with fascinating ideas about technology that when woven together make us ponder what it means to be human? My only wish is that the shows story telling had jumped to the Observer War (Season 5) sooner in Season 4 so we could have gotten a full season, or more of it. Anyone who likes sci-fi, and especially if you want to write sci-fi, should watch season 3.

I like the fact that Broyles plays a more active role in Season 3 and appreciate how the storyline jumps from one universe to the other, where each Fringe Division team handles its own unique cases. However, I was a bit put off by the season finale.

Alright, now I'm addicted. I really thought this season would get too weird for me, but instead I was watching with big wide eyes waiting for what happens next You won't believe it, but half the storyline, including entire episodes, happens in a parallel universe with all the same (but different) characters, and I ended up rooting for them too, very confusing but fun. Of course I had to be eating during the "bug" episode, and there's more needles than House MD, but overall it was a lot less gross than season 2. You really, really need to watch everything in order starting from season 1.

The third season of Fringe brings the battle with the parallel universe into full swing. Olivia and her parallel version trade places and both Fringe units deal with various issues related to the pattern as well as the destruction in both universes. Ultimately it is determined that Peter and Olivia are the key players in the salvation or destruction of one or both universes. Both Walter Bishops also play key roles in determining the course of events especially as they relate to the mysterious machine each universe is trying to assemble. There are many surprising events at the end of season three all of which lead to a confusing but thrilling conclusion.

One of the best shows I've ever seen. This season is great!! There is so much going on in this season that I couldn't stop watching it. I watched the whole season in 3 days. Definitely recommend this show and this season!! You won't regret it.

good entertainment. makes me interested in fringe science although some of it in this series is a bit wacky. mixes it up a bit with the fringe incidents though...the variety maintains interest, not so honed in on where it's going like later x-files direction but still keeps you linked to the overall plot.

It's our favorite show but they scrimped on extras for this season's DVD. Only two episode commentaries? Maybe it's a sign of the decline in interest for DVDs of shows.
