When the criminal justice system breaks down allowing bribing billionaires and politicians to loot and rape the lives of common citizenry, when child abusers and rapists walk free on technicalities and fancy lawyering, vigilante justice becomes almost inevitable. Byrnes book lays it out step by step in these modern times without applauding it, but recognizing that it would have to be a lot worse than just the current cops shooting unarmed citizens and walking free. Worth the read.
