Three sisters face dark times in their life, with an ill mother, but want to keep their family together. It's a powerful story with heartfelt characters.

In the book "Tell me something real," main character Vanessa is a middle child. Her older sister Adrienne is fearless and beautiful. Her younger sister Marie is sweet and loved. They lean on one another and are very close, even more so now that their mother has leukemia. The family tries to stay strong and together for the pain surely to come. But not everything is as it seems, as something much worse than cancer surrounds them.

This book is full of unexpected twists and turns, happiness, anger, tears and laughter. It is very deep and meaningful. I really enjoyed reading this book.
