A captivating adventure story for fans of The Chronicles of Narnia and The Golden Compass .

I was captivated by this book from its exquisite detailed cover to the adventurous plot. The first book by its Norwegian author, it's a different fantasy... who wouldn't want to visit a wintery world inhabited by beloved pets? Even if trolls and nightmares live there too...
