I learned so much about Florence Nightingale from this biography. Her courage, tenacity, and capacity to care for others was remarkable and inspiring, and this book really highlights that. The embedded images and newspaper articles helped contextualize the story. Sometimes the writing felt a little awkward to me, but overall, the narrative kept my interest. Recommended!

Very good biography, with enough information to be intriguing, but not tedious. I learned a fair bit about Florence Nightingale, her life, her family, and most of all, her passion to help others. Definitely a worthwhile, informative, yet fun read.
