Sounds of water (onomatopoeia) with pictures of a cute fox in the forest. Appropriate for story time. Ages 4-8.
Read this book twice: once as a "picture walk" observing and discussing the illustrations, then again by creating the sounds of the rainstorm as you read the onomatopoeiac text. Add a rainstick, and you've got a perfect sensory experience for storytime!
