With Samuel on the brink of securing unlimited power, the brothers are in for their deadliest battle yet.

Actually I thought it was one of the best books.I like how Stefan and Damon grew closer in the book, but was sad when the book ended and they had to separate ways because of Stefan feeling guilty when he was compelled by Samuel to kill his brother.I also respected lady Alice by accepting them as vampires and helped in the end when she was hurt for the death of Mary Jane and blaming Stefan for the whole thing.I will also miss Cora as I got used to her being with the Salvatore brothers.
