The second Psy - Changeling series book. Where introduced to Faith a F designation in the Psy world. We have know been fully introduced to all the types within the Psy and like the first follows Faiths adventure. Were once again embraced with sections of romance but the book is predominately a supernatural plus fantasy feel as we are whisked away to another world.
One of my top two best.
Very good, Romantic but also intense. It wasn't soppy which is really fantastic. :)
(no spoilers) Judd wasn't the nicest guy around in the beginning but Brenna sure loosens he up. It was one of those books (initially) for me where I'm thinking "what the heck does she see in him?" he's such a cold jerk! Well that's exactly what he's supposed to be... A similar feel, in a way, to Ward's #3 Bella & Zsadist. The tangible "excuse" for the attraction is that the abused women feels "safe" around these men cause they're so scary badass! For me Judd was (eventually) exciting to read about due to all that crazy TK & TP power he had.
As the story progesses it is easy to sympathize with his past and the ensuing struggles with painful dissonence. He is, above all, a product of extreme Psy manipulation. His transformation was sure interesting...NS had me really rooting for him in the end and what an ooooh soooo very SWEET ending it was!!! Also...the sizzling romance at the end and very end are a worthwhile wait!
Look forward to more...
I think this is the best in her series so far.
I have always wondered about how the Psy break through and this character has been referenced since almost the start of the series.
Judd and Brenna's story. Like the first 2 novels, this doesn't disappoint. May not always appeal to everyone, but if you're a fan of Psy-Changeling, its definitely a critical point in the series.
I love this series but this one is my absolute favourite.
