I was disappointed in that the author didn't really detail how she got to become a published author as I thought that would be helpful to anyone wanting to get beyond their upbringing and community. I am grateful that I did have my parents to help me get through school and pattern behavior necessary to succeed in work life. I regret that with the current President and administration we are going backwards instead of forwards in helping people who aren't in the top 1%.

This book is so beautiful :') EXACTLY the kind of book I need and want! Everyone needs to read this even just a little bit.
