Add a CommentMy first book by Victoria Thompson. Read the first chapter and that was enough for me. I felt almost sick reading about the way people treated each other. I am sure A Gaslight Mystery is a very good series but I could not handle reading about a midwife in that time period. I will stick to my cozy culinary mysteries.
Labyrinthine. Even though I have read all the previous books in this series, and so am used to the twists and turns the author uses, I was still totally astonished at the "whodunnit".
