It's a fun series..EXCEPT for the awful split screen shots that are used throughout the show without adding anything but cheeziness. It just reminds you you're watching a flat screen. Split screen went out of style in 1970 for good reason. Besides that, it's a pretty good show for the kooky factor.

Fictional death and mayhem can be funny but I just don't find torture all that amusing, and a scene early in the second episode turned me off watching any more. Pity--I like many of the cast.

DEATH may be lurking anywhere, at any time and for anyone, in this second season.
Much carnage presented with some whimsy and a philosophical air. Riveting viewing.
