Katie Ellison is not a liar. It's just that telling the truth is so ... tricky. She knows she shouldn't be making out with a drama club hottie behind her football-player boyfriend's back. She should probably admit that she can't stand eating quahogs (clams), especially since she's running for Quahog Princess in her hometown's annual Quahog Festival. And it would be a relief to finally tell someone what really happened the night Tommy Sullivan is a freak was spray-painted on the new wall outside the junior high school gymnasium, in neon orange, which still hasn't been sandblasted off. After all, everyone knows that's what drove Tommy out of town four years ago. But now Tommy Sullivan has come back. Katie is sure he's out for revenge, and she'll do anything to hang on to her perfect (if slightly dishonest) existence. Even if it means telling more lies than ever. Even if, now that Tommy's around, she's actually, no lie, having the time of her life.

I was so embarrassed by the cover (and back cover) I used a sheet of loose leaf to make a cover to cover it. It was so good!

This book ended up being better than I expected, it showed different aspects of Katie's life. It showed her friend problems, family problems and boy troubles. Don't be scared about the title! It's supposed to be from lier lier pants on fire, before I read it I was worried it meant something else...

I loved this book! i did not think it was going to be that good before reading it, but it was definatly worth it! It is a very quick read, and a good story line!

This was good, but definitely not one of my favorites from Meg Cabot. If you liked this book, or want to give Meg another try, I suggest reading the Mediator series, and her 1-800-Where-R-You books (that series starts with When Lightning Strikes.).

This is the first book I read from Cabot and this is my all time favorite. I've read it over and over again, but it never gets old.

I really enjoyed reading this book the first time and now I love to read it more than once. In the beggining the main charecter is seen as the typical high school senior in a high profile clique until she meets a friend from her past and thats when the story becomes interesting. I deffinetly reccomed anyone interested in these topics to read this book :)

This wasn't one of my favourite books by Meg Cabot. I found the story hard to get into, and everything seemed quickly wrapped up at the end. It is kind of entertaining once you get into the story. I'd suggest reading other books by Meg Cabot if you weren't a fan of this one.
