"Three Days Missing" was just okay - I found it to be quite predictable and I didn't like how she did the antagonist. I enjoyed reading her book "Dear Wife" much more. Hopefully Kimberly Belle's other books will be better.

School field trip gone horribly wrong...

PLOT SUMMARY: Against her better judgement, Kat has allowed her young son Ethan to attend an overnight field trip with his class. A brilliant, yet socially awkward child, Ethan struggles to make friends, and Kat can’t help but worry about how he will handle this time away, and how he will be treated by the other children. But suddenly Kat is plunged into a nightmare worse than she ever imagined when her son Ethan goes missing...and no one can find him.

As the days drag on, there seems to be very little information to go on, and Kat despairs that she will ever see Ethan again. Added to this is the POV of Stef, mother of another boy in Ethan’s class. She is also married to the mayor who is seeking re-election, and does not want a scandal to taint his chances. What is going on? How are these two women linked? And will they be able to find Ethan?

PROS: Fast paced, riveting and thoroughly entertaining.

CONS: A tad predictable, but still good!!!

YES or NO: It’s a YES from me! I had a great time reading this one!!!

I enjoyed this book. I was pretty sure I knew who the kidnapper was but the story kept me entertained regardless. I love the sentiment about forgiveness at the very end.

Very well written. Hang off of every word and so many twists and turns it makes you keep guessing until the last minute! Loved it!

(Review Not on Blog)

Three Days Missing is my first novel by Kimberly Bella and I was excited to read this one. I listened to this one on audio and found it was well done. I found the book just an okay read. It is what I would call a good book to take to the beach where you don't need to focus too hard on the story. The plot was predictable especially with the two story lines. I understand why we had two points of view of Kat and Steph, but it just made it easier to see the ending. The characters a bit wooden, and I am not sure if that was a "red herring" and that was how they were meant to be written. Even a possible love interest story line didn't develop and kind of hung in the background begging to spice up the story. While the suspense is very low in this novel, I would still try another book by Belle.

***I received an eARC from EDELWEISS***

It's been a while since I've read such a riveting and suspenseful novel. This is the first of her books that I've read and certainly won't be the last. One of the 'burn the midnight oil' books.
