A treasured colleague's niece survived being shot at MSD in Parkland. She was an integral part of the March for Our Lives movement after she recovered sufficiently to join. I expected to read about her and other kids who were wounded. Nada.

Instead, the book focused almost exclusively on the four kids who captured headlines in the days after the shooting. Very little is said about David Hogg's sister Lauren who lost four friends. David wasn't anywhere near where the bullets were flying. Ditto for Jaclyn Corin, Cameron Kasky, and Emma Gonzalez.

It does share interesting bits of information about how the movement evolved and PTSD.
