Once again, a brilliant entry into a series that's very clever. Tim 21 witnesses the rise of the robots, while trying to keep his family and friends safe. It's the kind of series where you really want more when you finish the newest volume.....

This space saga continues as exciting as ever. Unlike a lot of graphic novels, the violence is not superfluous and formulaic. Art and layout give this series its own unique look. Robots revolting are certainly not something new in science fiction or comics, but this has great characters and story telling. However, I think waiting for more volumes to come out would make a more satisfying read. It has a very fast pace, and this five-issue collection seems like it is made to be read in one or two sittings. I feel like I read one comic book. I admit I read the first four volumes back-to-back. Perhaps there will be a big deluxe edition. Jeff Lemire remains one of comics' most consistently effective writers.
