It's been five years since everything was awesome and the citizens are facing a huge new threat: Lego Duplo invaders from outer space, wrecking everything faster than they can rebuild.

disc was horribly scratched and could only watch half the movie, so disappointing when people ruin brand new discs :(

Funny and entertaining with character development and a new plot theme. This movie achieves a lot that most movies don't. That said, not quite as good as the first one!

Why did this movie fail at the box office again?! The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part was an amazing movie, being as good or better then the first one in my opinion. The animation had the classic stop motion feel as always, the twist at the end where we found out Rex Dangervest was Emmit from the future came out of no where, and the final battle was fun to watch. Plus what made this movie great was the feel good lesson at the end where Emmit tells Rex (and the audience) that when you grow up, you do not have to give up what you love, and everyone sees the world differently, which is inspiring. This lesson also does not go just for children, for even adults can take this advice to, which makes it that much more meaningful. Regrettably, there are two tiny reasons why this movie is not perfect. One is why President Buissness did nothing to help the other characters in the movie. Why save him in the first movie if he does poop in the second?! The second reason is why Robin and Batgirl are not with Batman in this movie. Did they die, did they get placed in the Bin of Storage? It never gets said. But even with these flaws, the Lego Movie 2 is a marvelous movie that anyone can enjoy. 4.8/5. @BooksRUs of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board

The LEGO Movie 2 is a film full of innocence, fun, and adventure. The film depicts a real-life problem that occurs between siblings - sharing. This movie wasn't as fun as it's predecessor, but it was a great movie to watch! The LEGO Movie 2 features LEGO creations that the older brother, Finn has created, but then his ideal LEGO world gets invaded by his younger sister's creations. The siblings bond but also fight over the LEGO. Throughout the movie, the siblings learn a lesson in the end about love, as well as sharing. Throughout the movie, numerous songs are sung and remain such a wonderful treat. The number of songs makes the film seem more like a musical. At the end of this spectacular sequel, viewers will experience an authentic feeling of appreciation. @EMBookWorm14 of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

I found this movie to have very little of the charm and wit of the first movie - which is why I loved the first movie. Honestly didn't enjoy this very much.

The Lego Movie 2 has received a much cooler reception than its predecessor, but I'd argue it's just as good (if not better!) than the first. As a parent, you sit through a lot of trash, so when you find one that you can rewatch over and over again you cling tight and appreciate it for what it is (see also: Paddington 2, all the Miyazaki movies, Wreck-It Ralph). The screenplay features a healthy amount of grown-up humor that benignly goes over your kid's heads and makes them ask, "Why did daddy fall off the couch and why won't he stop laughing?" So the humor is still operating at a high level here, but what the Lego Movie 2 has that the first doesn't is more than one female character (if you don't count Unikitty). Tiffany Haddish delivers a hilarious vocal performance as the amorphous Queen Watevera Wa'nabi and her militaristic muscle Sweet Mayhem illustrate that girls don't just play with dolls and dresses.

As good as the first!:)i enjoyed it very much!:)

Everything is not as awesome. That is, this movie is not nearly as good as the first (from the perspective of adult enjoyment). This one is geared much more to younger audiences. It still has lots of stuff for us older folk. I just didn't laugh my head off like a lunatic like I did with the first one.

The only reason this movie was made was to fill in the cliffhanger at the end of the Lego Movie. The Lego Movie 2 would be a bit hard to understand for children 10 and under and It would be hard for them to identify the lesson behind it. Overall, there are some funny parts (if you're a Lego fan), and if you can pick it up for free at the library it's a decent activity for the next movie night

There is not on thing in this movie that I found enjoyable. For people who don't believe in sequels, this movie will prove your point. If you don't like your kids, rent this movie. It will bring them down for the rest of the day, or week, or month, or forever. It's that disappointing.

Definitely not as good as the first movie okay for the kids and that's it I didn't laugh once! Water waste of money and talent!
