"I have altered the deal. Pray I don't alter it further." The end of the Death Star wasn't the end of the story. Leigh Brackett, aka "the Queen of Space Opera," helped pen this sequel to the original Star Wars.
Yes, we went there. The Star Wars prequels have certain critics drawing parallels between Anakin and Hamlet, Padme and Ophelia, and C3P0/R2D2 and Rosencrantz/Guildenstern.

Add NoticesFrightening or Intense Scenes: Anakin's mother is tortured (we only hear her screams through a dream) and dies in Anakin's arms. He then goes on a killing rampage. There are other scenes that may frighten a young child as well.

Add a CommentThis Movie is the end of the Prequels and it has some very necessary info that we need to understand the movie, even though some of it is not nice to see. I would recommend not to let young children watch it because it may prove to cause nightmares for them. The Movie is very good one of the best ones of all the movies and I would give it 4 stars
Here's my theory about why Lucas made Luke & Leia brother & sister. I'm sure many others have thought about this, too. Before Return of the Jedi, it was said Harrison Ford only signed a contract to be in Star Wars and Empire. Since Lucas didn't know if Harrison would be willing to return, he thought he could easily make Luke & Leia a couple. But when the producer convinced Ford to return, Lucas needed a reason why there couldn't be a love triangle in Star Wars! So, he decided to make Luke & Leia brother & sister. That way Han could end up with Leia. (Lucas could have killed off Luke in Return).
phantom menace I found not a good foundation for star wars. the prequels are not that good! you need to start watching the originals first! but lets not beat up this movie too much!

Hayden Christensen maybe gives the single worst performance of the 00s. Much of it looks like a video game. The only thing that made me happy was Christopher Lee.
EXTREMELY GOOD. Awesome. The part when Skywalker turned to the dark side was cool. But this movie had the most thrilling lightsaber duel of all Star Wars history, Obi-wan against Anakin. It had three more duels too.
