"Driving home one night, Gabe is stuck behind a rusty old car. He sees a little girl's face appear in its rear window. She mouths one word: Daddy. It's his five-year-old daughter, Izzy. He never sees her again. Three years later, Gabe spends his days and nights traveling up and down the highway, searching for the car that took his daughter, refusing to give up hope, even though most people believe she's dead. When the car that he saw escape with his little girl is found abandoned with a body inside, Gabe must confront not just the day Izzy disappeared but the painful events from his past now dredged to the surface"-- Provided by publisher.

She is such a great writer with another original and fascinating story. I know when I read a C.J, Tudor book, the world just stops and there is nothing else I do but read to the end. Love her books!

All I can say is wow! I loved this author’s The Chalk Man and The Hiding Place and was so excited for her new novel... and Tudor did not disappoint! Just the right amount of suspense and horror, I could not put this book down! I highly suggest jumping into this novel head first! You will be so glad you did!

I actually found it hard to put this book down. I have previously read C.J. Tudor’s work and this is one of her best! I really enjoyed it.
