I enjoyed this book as much as Pivot Point. I got to see another character’s point of view which I enjoyed. The plot was good but to me it was not as good as Pivot Point, but it was a relaxing read that was easy to follow. Even though the book was relaxing and written at its own pace the author was able to create enough suspense and tension to keep me reading. Split Second starts at the ending of the first book Pivot Point. There is the same intensity in Split Second as there was in Pivot Point. The ending was heart-warming and intense that made me smile when reading the last couple of chapters. I could see what true love looks and feels like. There is a lot of drama that was crazy! But I loved it all! This book is another reason why I love Kasie West. I loved this book and I’m going to miss all the characters dearly. Kasie West’s books are addictive. Even though I enjoyed this book I felt like it was unnecessary. Other than that, this book has a special place in my heart. I give it a 4 out of 5. @Nat of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public LIbrary
