Book 3, and the second volume of the popular kids show Avatar The Last Airbender sees our heroes once again exploring the land of the fire nation. This DVD consists of five episodes including: The Avatar & the Fire Lord, The Runaway, The Puppet Master, Nightmares & Daydreams, & The Day of Black Sun Part 1: The Invasion. Now there was a lot I liked about this volume. The storyline of Katara's struggle with blood bending was very nice. Also the battle of Zuko and his destiny, as well as the connections him and Aang have with the fire lord were very interesting to see. Finally I loved the tension that built with the invasion with the build up for the day of black sun was amazing to watch. 5 Stars- @Ruby_Tuesday of the Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board We are given a glimpse of Aang and Zuko’s forefathers. Later, Katara and Toph fight once again because Katara dislikes Toph’s methods of getting money. Combustion man, the assassin after them, is still trying to kill Aang. Katara later learns some new water bending skills from a lady in an odd village. Finally, things get interesting as Aang and the group arrive at a place where they were meant to meet prior to the invasion to defeat the Fire Nation. The problem is that the Fire Nation anticipated the attack. The group is ready to launch their attack on the Fire Nation. - @JuiceboxZ of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
