This entertaining sequel to 1931's "Frankenstein" has Baron Henry Frankenstein (who is goaded on by the sinister scientist, Dr. Pretorius) actually creating a female mate for his lonely, man-made monster. Impressively directed by James Whale - This 1935 horror-movie production (for the most part) holds up quite well, today (nearly 90 years later) - Though, because of its age, you really do have to forgive it for its noticeable shortcomings. Containing lots of eerie atmosphere - This vintage film's highlight is, of course, the bride's unveiling, followed by her reaction to her intended husband. (Kissy-Kissy!?) Believe me - This scene's overall impact is a neat combination of horror and hilarity (both at the same time).
