Rainbow Rowell is an amazing writer and I cannot wait to read all her books. I suspect this is most likely the best one and the comments below seem to confirm that. The reason I did not give the book 5 stars is simply because sometimes Cath, the main character, annoyed me! Although I appreciate her hesitant nature, as she goes through the rough transitionary period of going off to college and leaving home, sometimes she was just illogical and childish because of her fears. Whenever she skipped her Psychology final and did not finish her final fiction writing assignment, I honestly wanted to give her a huge smack to the head. I was legitimately frustrated beyond belief with a fictional character! I also hate how hesitant she is with a guy who clearly likes her and values her. I also hate how closed off she was about her mom re-entering the picture. Basically, Cath is a bit of a pessimist and way too strong-willed, but still a (generally) lovable character.
