If you haven't watched Page 8, you aren't going to understand this very well. You'll need to follow it up with Salting the Battlefield for the end of the story. NOT a stand alone movie!(British producers do seem to like trilogies, don't they?) I noticed that some people complain because they don't like movies that don't fit their personal political agenda, but this is a POLITICAL THRILLER that really isn't all that thrilling. A touch of murder mystery, another 65-year-old man gets to bed a 20-something woman vanity project, and a bit of a jab at the US for their loves of profit and talent for graft. Nighy fans will like it, but not think it is wonderful--but the third movie doesn't work if you skip this one--so that is enough reason to watch it.
