Healthy as F*ck

the Habits You Need to Get Lean, Stay Healthy, and Kick Ass at Life

In the preface, the author says the reader shouldn't expect click-baity type content in this book. She then proceeds to launch into what is basically a 250 page blog post, complete with text boxes containing pull quotes from adjacent paragraphs and yes, click-bait-style chapter titles. Maybe she was being ironic in the preface? This book could be about half as long and still deliver the same useful message without all the risqué asides. Stuff like: You should be eating more vegetables, but also taking some "me time" every day to dream about Mario Lopez tickling your butthole. The humour did not appeal to me, but there is definitely useful stuff here. I've taken her advice on de-stressing life to heart, for instance. Some people will love this book, I'm thinking North American women born c. 1979 - 1984. I would have preferred an abridged version.
