I enjoyed listening to Neil read his speeches and pieces he has written that span decades of his career. Each piece is random and that makes it even more enjoyable. My reactions were like "oh he wrote about that--awesome." Some things I enjoyed more than others. I enjoyed his ode to libraries, his interview with Stephen King, and his famous "Make Good Art" speech. He wrote introductions for many books, which are included in this book; it was fun to read his perspective on books like Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. You don't have to read the whole book like I did; you can pick and choose things you want to hear about, like he says in his intro.
