Three Girls Who Changed Science
Apr 05, 2017WCLSPointRobertsLibrary rated this title 5 out of 5 stars
A good example of narrative nonfiction - stories of three women of history who made enormous contributions to science, told through their personal experiences of their life and times. Recommended by a friend, I enjoyed learning about Maria Sibylla Merian, Mary Anning, and Maria Mitchell. I'd read about Mary Anning in Remarkable Creatures, but felt that her story in this book was just as thorough as in the adult novel. Rose in PR
