This story is an important addition to our homeschool's unit on the Holocaust. Not overly graphic, and the kids can relate to Curious George, so it makes the study more relevant. Agree with BookFairy119 about the age ranges, if the child is on the mature side. Otherwise, 12 is good. My fifteen year old gave this three stars because he said it wasn't really captivating. The writing is simple enough for it to be read by someone much younger, but the actual historical impact would be more suitable to someone a bit older.
