Henry was a pretty average high schooler who has never been in love, so he doesn’t have anything to compare to what he feels for Grace. His first impression of her wasn’t so great, just a broken girl that wears overly-sized men clothes. But when the two co-edit their school’s newspaper together, Henry’s interest in her skyrockets. But Grace sends mixed signals and doesn’t has a mysterious upbringing. When grief and love mix together, the outcome is unpredictable. Although I find that the author has an interesting writing style and Grace’s backstory had me hooked, by the end, I didn’t really enjoy this novel. The characters were not too developed, especially Grace, and I didn’t find that I particularly enjoyed the main pair, separately or together. The plot was pretty interesting but the ending, although realistic and quite the tearjerker, didn’t satisfy me. Rating:3/5 @Iron_Rose of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
