Alosa has successfully completed her mission and all three pieces of the map are in her father’s hands. Not only are the people who wronged her now imprisoned, she is able to return to her beloved ship and her all-female crew. Well, almost. Since Riden and her has worked together during the mission and he was an important part in her success, he is now on her ship and under her orders. However, her peaceful days were about to come to an end when an enemy informs her of a secret her father has kept from her for a long time. She was the daughter of the siren queen. This information sparked a war between her and her father which will definitely end in bloodshed. Alosa needs to face a scary part of herself that she wished didn’t exist and to outwit her father in order for any chance of survival. This is an amazing sequel to A Pirate King’s Daughter and a fitting end for this great two-book series. The relationship between Alosa and those around her are developed wonderfully and the novel is jam-packed with action. This book also includes so many powerful female characters that the reader will fall in love with. This is a super fun read that I would absolutely recommend.
