CRRL Kids: Día de los Muertos/Day of the Dead

The dead are beloved and remembered in Mexico, especially on November 1 and 2. November 1 is usually set aside to remember angelitos (little angels), family members who died as children. Those who died as adults are remembered on November 2. The Days of the Dead or Día de los Muertos is a true festival. Mothers and grandmothers make special delicious foods, and beautiful flowers are gathered, all to honor the dead.
